When signing up for Keepd you are given the choice of signing up using your phone number or external email address.
If you choose to sign up with your email external email address, this email will become the main email address linked with your Keepd account. This email address will act as a recovery address where password and PIN reset emails will be sent. You can also receive notification emails to this address when your Keepd account has new activity.
If you sign up using your phone number your account will be without a linked main email address.
You can add, update or change your accounts main email address at anytime. Let's take a look at how to add, update and change your accounts main email address in Keepd.
Adding main email address on Web/Desktop
Open the user menu on the top bar

Select the ‘Account’ option from the user menu

On the ‘My Account’ details page, enter your email address in the ‘Recovery email’ field and press the ‘Update Account’ button

You'll be sent an email to with a 6-digit verification code. Enter this 6-digit code to verify your email address so that it can be added to your account

Adding main email address on Mobile
Open the settings menu on the home page

Select the ‘My account’ option from the settings menu

On the ‘My Account’ details page, enter your email address in the ‘External email’ field and press the ‘Update account’ button
